How will the WBI be advertised? |
Letters sent home, HSA teacher meetings with students who need to pass the Algebra HSA, Guidance counselors, Algebra teachers and tutors |

When doe the WBI start/stop? |
This course has a rolling enrollment, but will be most heavily accessed about a month prior to each of the four HSA testing windows (October, January, May, and August) |

Who makes initial contact? |
HSA Teacher (who is also the course instructor) letting the students know they didn’t pass their Algebra HSA and this is an opportunity to prepare for the re-take. |

How are the learners initially contacted? |
Face to face meetings with HSA Teacher/Course Instructor. |

How do learners know where/when to register? To access the WBI? |
An email from the instructor will be sent to the students with registration information. A follow-up F2F orientation will occur with instructor and/or mentor. |

How do learners identify the software or plug-ins that they need? |
Computers at school will be pre-equipped. |

How do learners know their roles and responsibility? |
The syllabus outlines course expectations, along with frequent communication from the instructor. |

Who do learners contact for technical or administrative assistance? |
Learners will contact their mentor if working during a tutoring session. If students are home, they will be able to email the instructor. |

How will learners obtain any support materials? |
Students will be contact by the Administrative Assistant regarding a graphing calculator. Everything else they need will be provided in the course. |

How does the instructor access it? |
The course is accessible online anywhere with administrative log in. |

What software of plug-ins are needed to use the WBI? |
Students should use Chrome or Firefox, because IE blocks Google Docs on our school network. A teacher will also need to unlock YouTube if working on the course in school. |

How does the instructor send and share documents or feedback on assignments? |
Through the Canvas course. Students will be able to see Grades and feedback on assignments under a “Recent Feedback” Tab on the main screen. Comments will also be left in the shared Reflection Doc. |

How will instructor or learners access online skills training? |
All of the training information for students/mentors is in the course. Emails/personal visits can be exchanged if there is confusion. |

How will the WBI team distribute support materials? |
All materials are available online, with the exception of a graphing calculator. The Admin assistant will contact students during school to see if a calculator needs to be checked out. |

How will instructor or learners report technical problems? |
The learners will ask their mentor if in school or email the instructor if at home. If the instructor needs further support, a phone call will be made to the Technical Support desk. |

How will learners, instructor, and mentor contact each other? |
Email will primarily be used for general questions. All students are required to make a Gmail account during the Orientation Module. Students and the mentor communicate in person during the tutoring sessions. The instructor will also use Remind101 to send text reminders. |

How are course expectations shared? |
The syllabus is linked in the Navigation of the Canvas course site. Students are expected to read the syllabus prior to starting the Orientation Module. |

How do learners and instructor share files? |
Students will upload most assignments to the Canvas course site. Students will also share their Reflection Log with the Instructor using Google Docs. |
